  1.      DEGASPIC.ACC is a Modula-2 program written in TDI's MODULA-2 ST.
  2. It loads a PI1, PI2, or PI3 picture into memory when your machine is
  3. booted and then you can display the picture by selecting Show Picture
  4. from the desk accessory menu.  To get back to your main screen, click
  5. on the right mouse button.
  6.      The program will take the first DEGAS picture in the proper 
  7. resolution on your boot disk and load it, so you can have a low, medium,
  8. and a high res pic on disk if you boot from all three resolutions.
  9.      The only bad thing I know of about this program is that it takes
  10. up RAM.  A 32000 byte buffer is needed to swap the screens.  To help with 
  11. the RAM problem, if you find that you need more memory, roll the 
  12. mouse so the pointer would be in the extreme upper left corner of 
  13. the screen (if you could see the mouse pointer) and press the 
  14. right button.  You will be returned to your work screen as usual, 
  15. but the picture buffer will also be released for your use.
  16.      Also remember that if you change resolutions and read the 
  17. program again, another 32K will be used.  To avoid this, if 
  18. you are going to change resolution from the desktop, use a disk 
  19. other than the one with DEGASPIC.ACC on it, or have a lot of extra 
  20. RAM to spare, or free up the buffer before you switch resolutions.
